Company ordered to pay employee Dhs199,298 as dues

An Abu Dhabi labor court has mandated a company to pay a former employee Dhs199,298, settling a dispute over unpaid entitlements following the termination of his employment. The employee had worked for the company for three years before the relationship ended without him receiving his due compensation.

The outstanding payments included several months of back salaries, amounting to Dhs74,250, and an annual leave allowance totaling Dhs27,205. The employee also claimed Dhs34,350 for unauthorized financial deductions, Dhs13,500 for the notice period, and Dhs33,116 as end-of-service gratuity. Additionally, the claim included Dhs4,000 for a travel ticket.

The lawsuit filed by the employee sought a judgment compelling the company to pay these amounts. The court's order also includes the payment of legal interest at a rate of 12% from the date of the judgment until full payment is made, in addition to covering fees, expenses, and attorney fees associated with the case.
