Comprehensive health fair served over 200 people at El Brasil clinic in Carora

An extensive integral health fair successfully provided quality medical attention to more than 200 residents at the El Brasil outpatient clinic in Carora, Venezuela. The clinic, founded in 1956, hosted the event aimed at addressing the healthcare needs of the local community.

During the operation, 205 individuals received medical consultations, and over 300 medications were distributed. Additionally, 17 cytologies were performed, indicating a focus on preventative care. A diverse team of healthcare professionals offered services across various specialties, including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Gynecology, Urology, General Medicine, Psychology, and Physiotherapy.

The initiative was coordinated by Dr. Juan Carlos López Plata, the clinic's medical coordinator, alongside Lic. Sabiduy Mendoza and Lic. Hilda Gómez from the Health Committee. Strategic collaborations with local organizations such as the Lions Club of Carora, Drofarma laboratory, and the Farmatodo chain were crucial in facilitating the provision of essential supplies and services.

Following the positive outcome of this health fair, Dr. López Plata announced that plans are already underway for another similar event in September, underscoring a continued commitment to improving healthcare access for the population of Carora.
