Concepción invites visitors to its 2026 Rally and Forestry Fair

Concepción is preparing for a busy weekend built around two major events: the 2026 Concepción Rally and the sixth edition of its Forestry Fair. The program combines sport, tourism, culture and gastronomy, with activities scheduled through Sunday.

The festivities begin Thursday night with a concert on Banzer Avenue. Local artists will open the event at 8 p.m., followed by the recognized performer Jerome at 10 p.m. Dico la face will close the program. Tourism official Alberto Velasco said the concerts create space for local artists and attract visitors from other municipalities.

The rally will hold its symbolic start at 7 p.m. Friday. Its main attraction will be the Plan Nocturno, an approximately 1,600-meter competition near the Olympic Village. Organizers have modified the circuit this year so vehicles will enter the athletics track, allowing spectators to watch from the stands. They have also tested the lighting and adapted the course.

A competitor trial will take place from 1 p.m. Friday on Los Residentes Avenue and on a circuit behind the slaughterhouse. Organizers said viewing areas will be marked off so spectators can watch the cars safely, and they urged attendees to arrive on time.

The Forestry Fair will open Thursday with a wood-carving contest featuring six independent carvers from the municipality at the Chiquitanía Workshop School. On Friday afternoon, the Bolivian Forestry Chamber will organize the Forest Industry Social Meeting at the Livestock Fairgrounds. The fair’s wider program includes exhibitions, artists’ performances, symposia and other activities.
