Content creators host live stream to raise funds for earthquake victims

A coalition of content creators, musicians, and communicators united their platforms for a special live-streaming event, "Live por Venezuela," on Sunday, July 12. This global marathon broadcast, originating from multiple cities including Caracas, Miami, Mexico City, Madrid, and Buenos Aires, aimed to raise urgent funds for communities devastated by recent earthquakes in Venezuela.

The international artistic community coordinated a simultaneous online transmission to gather financial resources swiftly. The initiative garnered support from over 70 prominent figures in entertainment, journalism, and the digital sphere. Audiences interacted with personalities such as Vero Gómez, Manuel Ángel Redondo, Gabo Ruiz, Kabeto, Ale Otero, Estefanía León, El Chigüire Bipolar, Borja Voces, Raúl González, Karen Ferreira, Nangel Menez, and Michelle Dernersissian, among many others distributed worldwide.

Participants leveraged their social media reach to encourage donations from viewers connected to the broadcast. The event's logistics emphasized transparency in managing the collected funds. Organizers confirmed that all proceeds will be directed to the We Love Foundation (@welove_foundation), which is responsible for channeling direct assistance to the affected communities. These funds will be used to procure essential supplies and implement contingency plans in areas where infrastructure sustained damage.

The official website, liveporvenezuela.com, served as the central hub for payment options and global access links. The technical team unified the signals from the five transmission nodes to provide a continuous stream of interviews, comedy routines, and musical performances. This digital mobilization highlighted the capacity of the Venezuelan diaspora and local communicators to collaborate effectively in response to natural crises within the country. The project coordinators announced that fundraising balances will be published on the allied foundation's informational platforms in the coming days.
