Continental Hotels Nigeria Launches World Cup Watch Party Series in Lagos and Abuja

Football fans in Nigeria can experience the FIFA World Cup 2026 with an exclusive watch party series hosted by Continental Hotels. The hotels in Lagos and Abuja are set to transform into premier destinations for celebrating the tournament, offering an elevated viewing experience for all 48 matches.

Richard Mutanda, Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing, highlighted the initiative's aim to create an "unparalleled destination for football fans." Guests can expect giant LED screens, world-class hospitality, and engaging activities. The Lagos Continental will offer a luxurious indoor stadium ambiance on the 5th Floor Sports Bar & Lounge, featuring a large indoor LED screen and surround sound. Meanwhile, Abuja Continental will boast an outdoor stadium ambiance at its Pool Bar, creating Nigeria’s largest outdoor viewing arena with a massive LED screen.

Both venues promise immersive environments and special culinary offerings. Abuja's outdoor arena will feature "Watch, Sip & Score" cocktails, gourmet burgers, and "Suya by the Pool" grilled delicacies. The hotel will also host weekly Salsa Nights and Magical Mondays with cocktail promotions. A special Father’s Day Brunch is planned for June 21, blending football, family, and fine dining.

Lagos Continental's viewing experience includes a "World Cup Sunday Brunch" series starting June 14, with a Mexican Fiesta Brunch the following week. These events aim to provide a festive atmosphere, ensuring fans can "experience every goal, every cheer, and every victory" with memorable moments throughout the tournament, which runs from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
