Copa Bolivia Sets Date for Cruceño Classic Between Blooming and Oriente Petrolero

The highly anticipated "clásico cruceño" between Blooming and Oriente Petrolero has been officially scheduled by the Bolivian Football Federation (FBF). The match will take place on Sunday, August 30, at 7:30 PM local time in the Tahuichi Aguilera stadium. Blooming will serve as the home team for revenue collection purposes.

This fixture is part of the FBF's announced schedule for the first eight rounds of the Copa Bolivia tournament. The federation's Competitions Directorate confirmed the dates for several key inter-series "clásicos" (rivalry matches) which are set to occur during the second round of the competition.

In addition to the "clásico cruceño," the "clásico paceño" between Bolívar and The Strongest is also scheduled for Sunday, August 30. Bolívar will host this match, kicking off at 5:15 PM at the Hernando Siles stadium, also with revenue collection as a factor for the home team. Another significant match, between Guabirá and San Antonio, is slated for Monday, August 31, at 3:00 PM, though the venue is still pending confirmation.

The Copa Bolivia tournament itself is set to commence on Tuesday, August 18. In the opening round, Oriente Petrolero will begin their campaign as visitors against The Strongest at the Hernando Siles stadium at 8:00 PM. Meanwhile, Guabirá will host FC Universitario de Vinto in Montero at 6:00 PM on the same day. Blooming's debut will be on Wednesday, August 19, when they travel to Sucre to face Independiente Petrolero at 6:00 PM.
