Costco's New Kaohsiung Store Opens July 3, Traffic Plans Revealed

Costco's new Kaohsiung store is set to open its doors on July 3, with the company releasing detailed traffic flow plans to manage anticipated crowds and vehicle traffic. The company aims to minimize congestion in the surrounding areas and encourages members to utilize public transportation.

To facilitate access, the store has outlined specific entry and exit routes. For entry, customers can use routes via Zhike Road or through the Southeast Mile Base from Chenggong 2nd Road, or via Fuxing 4th Road from Fuxing 3rd Road, all leading to the Costco parking lot. Exit routes include Zhike Road leading to Fuxing 4th Road and then Chenggong Road, or through the base roads to Southeast Mile Base and then Chenggong Road.

Public transportation is also a viable option, with the Light Rail's "Software Park Station" located about a six-minute walk from the store. Costco also announced that exclusive promotions for the new store will be rolled out in phases. The company is coordinating with relevant authorities to ensure smooth operations and a comfortable shopping experience for its members during the opening period.
