Coupang's logistics centers are celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival with a series of events designed to bring cheer and tradition to their frontline workers. Under the theme "Dragon Boat Festival Dispels Five Poisons, Rocket Logistics Welcomes Happiness," the company is distributing festive rice dumplings and introducing interactive elements like a digital lottery wheel. This initiative aims to provide a "digital interaction, instant sharing, and stress relief" experience for employees. A key highlight of the celebration is the "Rocket Special Prize" lottery, which partners with the "Happy Kids" sheltered workshop. Employees can win handcrafted cookies made by individuals with intellectual disabilities, with Coupang purchasing these items to support their independence. This collaboration underscores Coupang's commitment to corporate social responsibility and fostering a sense of community. Yan Yimei, HR Director for Coupang Logistics Centers, stated, "At Coupang Logistics Centers, we always uphold the 'people-first' philosophy. This Dragon Boat Festival, we have specifically balanced digital fun with local public welfare." She added that every aspect of the event, from the lottery game to the anti-heat supplies and the cookies, reflects the company's appreciation for its frontline staff. Coupang aims to cultivate a workplace environment filled with gratitude and high morale. In addition to the lottery, employees are receiving "anti-heat" items like cooling towels and energy jelly drinks to help them cope with the summer weather. Traditional rice dumplings are also being distributed to add to the festive spirit. One employee, Mr. Qiu, shared his excitement about winning the "Rocket Special Prize," noting the meaningfulness of the cookies made by the "Happy Kids" workshop and expressing warmth at being able to support their self-reliance through the company's event.
