Fubon Guardians' highly touted first-round draft pick, Huang Po-hao, experienced a disastrous start in his latest appearance for the team's second squad.

Pitching against the Rakuten Monkeys' second team on June 20, 2026, Huang lasted only two innings. He was hit hard, giving up nine hits, including two home runs, and issued two walks. This performance led to him allowing eight earned runs, marking his worst outing of the season and significantly inflating his ERA to 6.34.

The game began poorly for Huang, as he allowed the first six batters he faced to reach base.
