CPN names 4 ministers in Koshi Province

The Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) has finalized its ministerial appointments for the Koshi Province government, naming four ministers and one state minister. The selections followed internal party discussions on Monday. Jivan Acharya, a former minister, has been assigned the crucial role of Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development. Gita Timsina will lead the Ministry of Social Development, focusing on social welfare and services within the province. Gombu Sherpa is set to take charge of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law, overseeing governance and security matters. Khinu Langwa Limbu has been appointed as the Minister for Tourism, Forests and Environment, tasked with managing the province's natural resources and promoting tourism. Additionally, Sapana Darji will serve as the State Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development. Province in-charge Rajendra Rai announced that the newly appointed ministers are scheduled to take their oath of office on Monday.
