Cricket PNG hosts ICC training to build certified coach tutor trainers

Cricket Papua New Guinea (PNG) is set to enhance its coaching infrastructure by hosting the International Cricket Council (ICC) Level One Coach Tutor Training. The three-day program, scheduled from July 14 to 16, 2026, will take place at the Cricket PNG Training Centre in Port Moresby.

The primary objective of this training is to cultivate a pool of Certified Coach Tutor Trainers within PNG. These trainers will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality coaching education across the nation. This development is considered a significant stride in fortifying the country's comprehensive coach education pathway.

By investing in the development of local tutor trainers, Cricket PNG aims to ensure a sustainable and accessible system for coaching development.
