Speaking in an interview with Vogue magazine, Rodríguez revealed that the ceremony occurred on August 11, 2026, a date chosen symbolically as it marked ten years since their first meeting at a Gucci store in Madrid. "We chose to do it in the living room of our house, where we have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In 30 years, I want my children to think: 'Something wonderful happened at this table,'" Rodríguez shared, emphasizing the significance of their home as the backdrop for their union.

Following the exchange of vows at home, the family visited the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima to receive a religious blessing. For the occasion, Rodríguez paid homage to their first encounter by wearing an outfit inspired by Gucci, featuring a semi-transparent white blouse and skirt, complemented by Chopard jewelry. Ronaldo donned a custom light beige suit, and their children were dressed in coordinated outfits.

Rodríguez also touched upon Ronaldo's career, noting his intention to retire from professional football within the next year.
