Croatia drop Gvardiol, Ghana recall Sulemana

Croatia has opted for significant squad adjustments ahead of their crucial World Cup Group L finale against Ghana. Defender Josko Gvardiol, a starter in the team's initial two games, has been placed on the bench. This is one of three changes made by coach Zlatko Dalic, who also gives starts to Ante Budimir and Nikola Vlasic for the first time in the tournament. Forward Petar Sucic also makes a return to the starting lineup.

Ghana, having already secured their place in the next round, is also rotating their squad.
