Croatian gymnasts Prpić and Zwicker qualify for World Championships

Croatian all-around gymnasts Mila Prpić and Christina Zwicker have secured their spots at the World Championships in Rotterdam. The duo officially made the list of 26 all-around gymnasts who earned a place at the global event based on their performances at the European Championships in Zagreb.

The Croatian Gymnastics Federation announced that the World Gymnastics Federation confirmed their participation following the European Championships. Prpić, who sustained a minor knee injury before the European Championship, called her qualification an "exceptional success." She stated, "This qualification is a beautiful reward after everything, but also great motivation to continue working, improving my elements, and being even better."

Zwicker, returning to all-around competitions at major events after a four-year break, had targeted World Championship qualification as her primary goal. "I am very glad that I qualified for the World Championship. I really enjoyed competing in front of the home crowd... the overall result was quite enough for a secure qualification," she said. Zwicker also highlighted her return to the sport after injury, with upcoming events including the Mediterranean Games and World Cups before the Rotterdam championships.

Now the Mediterranean Games await me, then two more World Cups, and as the icing on the cake this season comes the World Championship in Rotterdam, which I am very much looking forward to.
