Croatian Minister Praises Albania's EU Progress, Pledges Full Support

Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman expressed strong support for Albania's European Union accession during a visit to Tirana, commending the nation for its "excellent progress."

Croatia is still ready to provide assistance to Albania during its accession process.

During a meeting with his Albanian counterpart, Ferit Hoxha, Grlić Radman congratulated Albania on reaching a significant milestone by temporarily closing three negotiation chapters: science and research, education and culture, and external relations. He noted that Albania's commitment to achieving EU membership is evident and praised its full alignment with the EU's common foreign and security policy.

Croatia stands ready to assist Albania throughout its accession process by sharing its own experiences, strengthening institutional capacities, and providing technical assistance whenever needed. The Croatian minister is also scheduled to meet with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and President Bajram Begaj.
