Crystal Palace Signs Israeli Winger Anan Khalaili

English football club Crystal Palace has secured the signing of promising Israeli winger Anan Khalaili. The 21-year-old joins from Belgian side Royal Union Saint-Gilloise on a five-year contract, marking a significant investment for the Premier League club.

Khalaili's move to Crystal Palace comes after a potential transfer to Italian giants Inter Milan collapsed. Reports indicate that Inter Milan's management cited strict Italian regulations regarding player health as the reason for not approving the medical, despite an agreement between the clubs.

British media have reported the transfer fee to be around 24.5 million euros. Khalaili, who primarily plays as a right winger, has also represented the Israeli national team 16 times. He becomes Crystal Palace's fifth acquisition of the summer transfer window, joining the likes of Oscar Mingueza, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Dwight McNeil, and Ivan Jessand.
