CTN launches summer season for Tunisians abroad

The Compagnie Tunisienne de Navigation (CTN) is set to launch its 2026 summer season, commencing with the departure of the vessel 'Tanit' from Marseille. The ship is scheduled to carry around 1,300 passengers and 660 vehicles, with an expected arrival in La Goulette, Tunisia, on Friday around 10:00 AM. CTN has announced that all necessary preparations are complete to ensure a smooth reception and transport for Tunisians residing abroad. Over 220 personnel, including the ship's crew, hotel staff, and service teams, are mobilized aboard the 'Tanit,' which has a capacity for nearly 3,200 passengers and 1,060 vehicles. For the 2026 summer season, CTN anticipates a total capacity of 433,400 passengers and 126,600 vehicles. This represents an increase from the previous season, which saw a capacity of 422,400 passengers and 123,600 vehicles. The company will operate a total of 149 crossings between June 15 and September 15, 2026, utilizing both the 'Tanit' and 'Carthage' vessels. This is an increase from the 145 crossings conducted during the same period in 2025.
