Cuajimalpa Delivers Aid to Families Affected by Rains; Continues Neighborhood Tours

Authorities in Cuajimalpa have begun distributing aid to families whose homes and belongings were damaged by torrential rains that struck the area a week ago.

The support, tailored to the specific needs of each household identified through surveys and mayoral inspections, includes essential items such as food packages, potable water, blankets, clothing, footwear, personal hygiene products, diapers, kitchenware, and medicine. Families who lost property also received appliances.

Mayor Carlos Orvañanos stated that the initiative aims to support families during their recovery process and help restore basic living conditions. His office continues to conduct tours in affected neighborhoods, including Las Galicias, La Navidad, and Chimalpa, among others, to oversee progress and follow up with residents.

In anticipation of further rainfall, urban services brigades are actively engaged in cleaning, clearing debris, and removing rubble from affected zones.
