Ćuta: We might support the student list, but we need to see it first

The Ecological Uprising movement, led by Aleksandar Jovanović Ćuta, will make decisions regarding election participation and potential coalitions only after the elections are officially announced. Ćuta indicated that the movement might consider supporting a student-led list, provided it is a "clean story" and aligns with their core principles.

Regarding the potential student list, Ćuta explained that a decision would only be made after reviewing its composition, program, and political objectives. "Until we see the student list and the unity, because we see some movements among them, until we see a clear picture of that part of Serbia and whether they are focused on politics, we cannot decide. We will support it if it's a clean story, and I hope it will be. Don't ask us to support a list we haven't seen yet," he said.

Ćuta stressed that gaining power should not overshadow the resolution of fundamental citizen issues. "Power is useless if citizens are thirsty. There is no more important interest," he asserted. He reiterated that Ecological Uprising has a clear stance on participating in elections and will decide on supporting the student list once it is presented. The movement has proposed to all parliamentary groups that water be made a constitutional category, a move they believe is paramount.
