Cyber University of Korea and Korean Chamber of Commerce in Greater NY Sign MOU

Cyber University of Korea (CUFS) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Greater New York (KCCGNY) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The agreement is designed to bolster the expertise and broaden educational opportunities for Korean business professionals operating in the Americas.

The MOU, signed on August 18, brings together CUFS's advanced online education infrastructure with KCCGNY's extensive network of Korean businesses in the Eastern United States. This collaboration will focus on jointly developing and operating educational programs, co-hosting seminars, special lectures, and workshops, and pursuing industry-academia cooperation and joint research tailored for the Korean business community in New York and surrounding areas.

CUFS President Moon Hwi-chang highlighted the university's role in connecting global learners beyond geographical constraints. He expressed optimism that this partnership will facilitate the dissemination of CUFS's high-quality educational content to the American market, thereby opening new avenues for "K-Education."

Following the MOU signing, President Moon also delivered a special lecture at the KCCGNY's "Member's Night" event on August 20. His address focused on the importance of corporate localization strategies amidst evolving AI and global economic landscapes. He introduced the concept of "ABCD Skills and Strategies," emphasizing the integration of technology (Hard Skills) and strategic thinking (Soft Skills) as crucial for competitiveness in the AI era. CUFS's cutting-edge digital education infrastructure, including its AI-based multilingual subtitle service for all courses, garnered significant interest from the attending business leaders.
