Cybersecurity: A Major Turning Point for the Administration?

Tunisia's public administration is being placed behind what the government describes as a digital fortress. On September 2, 2026, the head of government promulgated Circular No. 5, marking a new stage in cybersecurity requirements for the public sector.

The circular applies across the public digital system. Official websites, public-service platforms and government messaging services are all subject to the new requirements.
