Cyclist Dispute in Bad Kreuznach Ends in Assault and Bicycle Theft; Police Seek Attacker

A heated dispute between two cyclists on a path in Bad Kreuznach rapidly escalated from words to violence, leaving one man injured and his bicycle stolen. The incident occurred on Thursday evening as the two men were riding.

According to police reports, the altercation began after one cyclist overtook the other. What started as a verbal argument quickly turned physical. The unidentified suspect allegedly attacked the 51-year-old victim, striking him and knocking him to the ground.

Following the assault, the perpetrator fled the scene on his own bicycle, but not before taking the victim's bicycle as well. The 51-year-old sustained minor injuries from the attack and received medical attention from emergency services at the scene.
