In the Chacao district of Caracas, Venezuela, the Italian restaurant Da Gaby y Tony stands as a testament to enduring tradition, celebrating 70 years of operation. Gabriel Finoglio's journey to Venezuela began in 1954, after Italy's post-war devastation. He arrived with little more than hope, initially taking on manual labor before finding work in a small restaurant. There, he learned the intricacies of the culinary world, eventually developing the skills to manage, cook, and serve. This experience paved the way for him to establish his own restaurant, creating a legacy of authentic Italian flavor that continues to thrive.
