Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2026 Set to Ignite the Night

Da Nang is gearing up for the spectacular 2026 International Fireworks Festival, with final preparations underway for the opening night on May 30th. The festival grounds, situated on the west bank of the Han River, are under strict security measures and have been cordoned off for teams to finalize their preparations.

The event promises a dazzling display with 10 international teams competing over five nights, each night exploring a different theme such as Nature, Heritage, Culture, Creativity, Vision, and "Da Nang - Connecting Horizons." The festival will culminate in a grand finale on July 11th.

Organizers anticipate a large audience, with seating for over 10,000 spectators each night. The grandstands are nearly complete, and final checks are being conducted. Beyond the fireworks, nearly 30 supporting events are planned, including new additions like a showcase of intangible world heritage at the My Son temple complex and the Sun Fest Ba Na Hills festival.

Authorities, including the Da Nang Police, the City Military Command, and the Border Guard Command, are coordinating to ensure security, public order, and traffic safety on both land and water. Various city departments are also implementing inspections for food safety, cultural and tourism management, and commercial activities to support the festival. The participating teams include representatives from Vietnam, China, Italy, Germany, Portugal, France, Japan, Macau, and Australia.
