Dah Chong Hong Buys NT$650 Million in Property for Expansion

Dah Chong Hong (大立光), a prominent player in the optics industry, has continued its aggressive expansion strategy by acquiring land and factory buildings in Taichung City's Nantun District for NT$650 million. The newly acquired property includes approximately 1,456.8 ping of land and 561.79 ping of buildings, all designated for future production capacity enhancement.

This latest acquisition marks the fifth real estate purchase by Dah Chong Hong this year, underscoring the company's commitment to scaling its operations. These five acquisitions, concentrated between June and August, represent a significant investment, totaling NT$6.3 billion. The combined purchases cover 13,500 ping of land and 13,000 ping of buildings, all earmarked for expanding manufacturing capabilities.

In addition to property investments, Dah Chong Hong has allocated approximately NT$2.695 billion towards factory construction and the procurement of new machinery during the current year. These substantial capital expenditures reflect the company's forward-looking approach and its dedication to meeting growing market demands.
