Danish Uno-X chief on yellow jersey: We have written a new chapter

The Uno-X team has achieved a historic milestone in the Tour de France as Norwegian rider Torstein Træen claimed the coveted yellow jersey. Træen was part of a successful breakaway on the fourth stage, and with the main contenders holding back, he was able to secure the lead. Sports director Christian Andersen described the achievement as "a new chapter" for the team, emphasizing that a yellow jersey in the Tour de France is an unexpected and celebrated accomplishment. "A yellow jersey in Tour de France is not something we can expect to take. We are totally happy about what has happened," Andersen stated. Træen, who previously held the leader's jersey in the Vuelta a España for four days, remained focused during the stage. He concentrated on managing his body temperature in the challenging heat, rather than dwelling on the prospect of wearing the yellow jersey. "I didn't think that much, actually. I was primarily wondering how I could keep myself cooled down," Træen explained. He is currently 28 seconds ahead of his closest competitor, Sean Quinn of EF, while major contenders like Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard are nearly eight minutes behind.
