Davido sets London premiere date for ‘Oriade’ album

Afrobeats sensation Davido has announced a special live premiere event for his highly anticipated sixth studio album, 'Oriade,' scheduled for August 11 in London. The exclusive show will offer fans the first opportunity to experience the new tracks performed live.

The album, 'Oriade,' is slated for official release on July 31. The title, derived from the Yoruba words 'ori' (destiny) and 'ade' (crown), translates to 'the crowned head.' This release marks a significant milestone for the artist, celebrating his 15-year career in the music industry.

Davido described the album as a deliberate shift back to his signature high-energy African sound, moving away from the more pop-focused crossovers of his previous work.
