Deadly explosion rocks Moscow cafe, killing three and injuring 15

A powerful explosion near a cafe in central Moscow has resulted in at least three fatalities and 15 injuries, according to Russian authorities. The blast occurred around 8:10 PM on Saturday evening in the vicinity of Kudrinskaya Square, a busy area known for its cafes and terraces.

Emergency services, including police, firefighters, and ambulances, were quickly mobilized to the scene. The injured victims were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. The immediate area was cordoned off by police, and traffic in the surrounding streets was temporarily restricted. Access to the nearby Barrikadnaya metro station was also closed.

As of now, the cause of the explosion remains undetermined. Authorities have launched an investigation to ascertain the exact circumstances that led to the blast. The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed the provisional death toll and number of injured, as reported by Al Jazeera.
