Delfina Gómez to deliver third government report in Toluca on Sept. 30

Delfina Gómez Álvarez will deliver her third government report on Sept. 30 in Toluca, presenting the results of her administration during the first half of her six-year term.

The Morena governor will first appear before the 62nd Legislature of Mexico State to personally hand over the report. She will then deliver a message to the people of the state.

The report will address progress in welfare, security, economic development, public works, anti-corruption efforts and poverty reduction, as well as education, health and tourism. It will also cover coordination with the federal government, including actions linked to the Plan Oriente and IMSS-Bienestar in Mexico State.

Gómez is expected to include differences in the needs of the state’s regions and the progress reported during her third year in office. She will also give regional reports in municipalities across Mexico State as part of the administration’s accountability process.

President Claudia Sheinbaum is scheduled to visit Mexico State six days earlier, on Sept. 24, to present her second regional government report. The venue has not yet been determined.
