Mrs. Sophia Otemabor Lawrence, a prominent entrepreneur and founder of Sophie’s Treat Trove, has called on unemployed young women in Nigeria's Niger Delta region to embrace vocational skills and entrepreneurship.

She expressed concern over the increasing number of women who rely solely on men for survival, emphasizing that women must become self-reliant to effectively support their families and contribute to stable homes.

For those without formal education opportunities, she recommended acquiring vocational skills such as hairdressing, fashion designing, baking, makeup artistry, and event decoration.
