The bill, centered on the complete abolition of prosecutors' supplementary investigation rights, was brought before the National Assembly's plenary session. Following an unlimited debate, or filibuster, expected to conclude on August 1st, a vote is anticipated, with passage considered likely. Han assured the public that the Democratic Party would thoroughly explain the changes and address any public concerns.

The party is committed to finalizing all related regulations and institutional adjustments to ensure the stable launch of the Serious Crimes Investigation Agency and the Prosecution Service on October 2nd.
