Deniz Baysal breaks her silence with striking remarks during divorce

Deniz Baysal has finally spoken about her divorce from singer Barış Yurtçu, saying she is going through a period in which she feels “happy” and “at peace.”

Baysal and Yurtçu, who married in 2019, decided to divorce and entered a contentious legal process. Baysal reportedly filed for divorce at Istanbul Courthouse in July, citing differences of opinion. The court file was placed under a confidentiality order.

Reports claimed that Yurtçu sought a large sum of money and various conditions in his response to the case. Other allegations said he had been unfaithful and was unwilling to proceed with the divorce. The couple had reportedly begun with an uncontested process before the case turned contentious.

Yurtçu later responded through his lawyer. The statement said the infidelity allegations were entirely false and baseless and amounted to an attack on his personal rights.

Baysal also said she shows her affection but can be demanding with people she loves. Her advice, she said, is simple: “First, learn to love yourselves.”
