Deportes Concepción wins derby against U. de Concepción, claims fourth straight league victory

Deportes Concepción solidified their strong form by winning the derby against Universidad de Concepción with a 1-0 scoreline at the Estadio "Ester Roa Rebolledo." This victory marks their fourth consecutive win in the league's 18th round.

The first half was tightly contested, with neither team establishing dominance until the final minutes. A foul by Yerco Oyanedel on Joaquín Montecinos inside the box led to a penalty. After a VAR review by Fernando Vejar, Joaquín Larrivey successfully converted the penalty in the 45th minute, giving Deportes Concepción the lead.
