Despite divorce, Fathia, Saheed Balogun join forces for ‘Efuronye’ promotion

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Fathia Williams is collaborating with her ex-husband, veteran actor Saheed Balogun, to promote her latest film, 'Efuronye: The Unicorn,' which is currently showing in cinemas.

The pair, whose marriage ended over a decade ago, have garnered attention for their amicable relationship and willingness to work together professionally despite their separation. Married in September 2000, they separated in 2006, and their divorce was finalized in 2014. Their recent public appearances supporting 'Efuronye: The Unicorn' defy the common notion that divorced couples must remain estranged, showcasing mutual respect.

For many fans, seeing Fathia and Saheed work side-by-side demonstrates that family bonds and shared objectives can persist beyond marital separation. In promotional skits, they involve their son, Khalid, further emphasizing family unity.
