Detained Haluk Levent speaks out: 'Don't link my personal debts to AHBAP'

Turkish musician Haluk Levent has broken his silence following his detention as part of an investigation into his AHBAP association. Levent stated on social media that he had contacted Deputy Interior Minister Bülent Turan, urging an immediate audit of AHBAP's operations since the earthquake. He emphasized that his personal financial dealings should not be conflated with the association's work.

He also teased a forthcoming statement, promising to reveal the origins of the current situation, which he believes will leave recipients "astonished."
