Dinamo finds new reinforcement in Israel? Experienced midfielder arriving, transfer details known

Croatian football club Dinamo Zagreb is reportedly strengthening its midfield with the acquisition of experienced Israeli player Dor Peretz. The 31-year-old midfielder is set to join Dinamo on a free transfer as his contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv expires on June 30.

Peretz has had a long and distinguished career with Maccabi Tel Aviv, spending 12 years with the club where he rose through the academy ranks and eventually became captain. He has made over 400 appearances for the club, scoring 80 goals and providing 35 assists. His contributions also extend to the Israeli national team, for which he has earned 55 caps and scored nine goals.

Dinamo appears to have secured a valuable asset, as Peretz is valued at 1.6 million euros according to Transfermarkt. He is expected to finalize a two-year deal with Dinamo, reportedly earning 750,000 euros per season. The contract also includes an option to extend his stay for an additional year.

This move follows Dinamo's recent signings of Mislav Oršić and Gabrijel Šivalec, who were brought in to bolster the team's wing positions. Peretz's arrival is intended to provide further reinforcement to Dinamo's midfield ahead of the upcoming season. Peretz has prior experience playing abroad, having spent a season on loan at Venezia, where he made 18 appearances in Serie A.
