Dinamo Sends Young Striker on Loan to HNL Club

Lovre Kulušić has played his farewell match for Dinamo B. The 19-year-old striker is leaving the club’s second team after only a few appearances this season and is expected to continue his career in the SuperSport HNL.

Dinamo has not officially named his next club, but earlier information cited by tportal points to Lokomotiva. The plan is for Kulušić to spend the entire season at Kajzerica. If the move follows the expected schedule, he could make his debut against Rijeka in the next round.

Kulušić last appeared for Dinamo B in a 1-0 win over Kustošija. After the match, coach Jerko Leko confirmed that the striker had played his final game for the team. “I would especially like to thank Kulušić for everything. He is leaving us now, and after Marko Zebić, he is also going on loan to the HNL. But we have Leonardo Perković and Mislav Ćutuk,” Leko said.

The move represents another step in Kulušić’s effort to establish himself in senior football. Dinamo signed him from Šibenik last summer for €250,000, with an agreed percentage of any future sale. Since arriving in Zagreb, he has also spent time on loan at Slovenia’s Bravo and at Vukovar before starting the current season with Dinamo B, where he scored once in three appearances.

With strong competition for places in Dinamo’s first-team attack, regular football is currently more important for his development than remaining in a system where opportunities are limited. Lokomotiva is expected to offer him continuity, significant minutes and a chance to prove himself at Croatia’s top level.
