Director Dimitar Kotsev-Shosho: 'We are governed by third-tier DS cadres'

Renowned director Dimitar Kotsev-Shosho has voiced strong pessimism regarding the current Bulgarian government, asserting that it is led by individuals with significantly limited capabilities. In a podcast interview for "Duma na Sedmitsata" (Word of the Week), Kotsev-Shosho stated his belief that the government's effectiveness is compromised by its composition.

"I am not a great optimist concerning this government," Kotsev-Shosho declared. He elaborated on his concerns by claiming that "one-third of the cadres are filtered State Security (DS) personnel, not even first or second tier." He suggested that this background inherently lowers the capacity of these individuals, hindering their ability to govern effectively.

Kotsev-Shosho specifically targeted "Progressive Bulgaria," implying a lack of competence within the political movement and, by extension, the government it is part of. His critique suggests a deep-seated distrust in the current leadership, rooted in his assessment of their past affiliations and perceived low capacity.
