Jo Nam-hyung, who helmed the series, directly addressed speculation about relationships between actors Park Ji-hoon and Jeon So-young, as well as Lee Sang-i and Han Dong-hee.

His statement came in response to an online post where a user claimed to have a conversation with the director confirming the actors' relationships. The alleged direct message exchange, shared by the user, suggested that the on-screen chemistry between the actors was not merely for show.
