Dirk Kuyt's Club Denies Official Contact with Fenerbahçe

FC Dordrecht management has responded to reports linking their coach, Dirk Kuyt, to a coaching role at Fenerbahçe, stating that no official contact has been made.

Club director Hans de Zeeuw told Dutch media that he was unaware of any formal discussions between the two clubs. "We don't know anything yet. There has been no official contact between Fenerbahçe and FC Dordrecht, and in this situation, we will not allow Dirk Kuyt to leave," de Zeeuw stated.

De Zeeuw acknowledged that Kuyt had informed the club of potential discussions with Fenerbahçe. "We told him he could talk to Fenerbahçe, but they haven't officially applied yet. We were also surprised by this news," he added.

Fenerbahçe had announced the return of İsmail Kartal as head coach and had also mentioned that former player Dirk Kuyt would be part of the technical staff. This announcement appears to have preceded any formal agreement or communication with FC Dordrecht.
