DJ Dewik, Hypeman Best shine at Soundcity On Tour

DJ Dewik and Hypeman Best have earned the roles of official DJ and hypeman for the 2026 Soundcity On Tour, a nationwide campus entertainment event. Their journey began with a chance discovery at the tour's inaugural edition in 2023.

Organizers noted that their initial performance impressed executive producer Adedeji Adeniji, who saw their potential despite their lack of a formal partnership or extensive experience as a team. Following this, creative development company TASH Studios NG signed the pair, working with them to hone their skills over two years. During this period, they performed at major events nationwide.

The duo's growth has culminated in their official roles for the 2026 tour, which is set to visit 20 tertiary institutions across Nigeria. The tour commenced with performances at Pan-Atlantic University and Olabisi Onabanjo University, where DJ Dewik and Hypeman Best entertained students. Organizers highlighted these initial performances as evidence of the pair's progress since their 2023 debut on the platform. With 18 campuses remaining, they are expected to be central to maintaining the energy and excitement of the upcoming events.
