The US Open is set to feature a star-studded mixed doubles pairing, with world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus and world No. 7 Novak Djokovic of Serbia joining forces. The tournament organizers confirmed the duo's participation on Monday, highlighting their potential to elevate the mixed doubles event.

While neither Sabalenka nor Djokovic are primarily doubles specialists, their presence is expected to significantly enhance the competition's appeal. The mixed doubles category often receives less attention compared to the high-stakes singles tournaments, which are scheduled to commence on August 30.

The formidable partnership will face stiff competition from established pairs. Among their rivals will be the reigning Italian champions, Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori, as well as the strong team of Iga Swiatek of Poland and Casper Ruud of Norway.
