Donald Trump names two greatest leaders he likes the most, one of them is PM Modi

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has lauded Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing him as a "great leader" and a "tough guy" who has been in power for over 12 years. Trump singled out Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping as the two leaders he most admires for their power, leverage, and execution capabilities.

I think Modi is very good. Yeah. They've had some very good numbers announced. He stays out of wars, which is smart. He's 1.5 billion people. He's actually the biggest. India's actually the biggest. And Modi's a great leader.

In an interview, Trump commented on Modi's leadership, noting India's "very good numbers" and Modi's strategic approach to foreign policy. "He stays out of wars, which is smart," Trump observed, highlighting Modi's ability to manage a population of 1.5 billion people. Trump also mentioned that the U.S. now conducts "fair business" with India, contrasting it with past dealings where, in his view, the U.S. was "ripped off" due to "stupid politicians."

Trump further described Xi as a leader of "great stature and confidence," while characterizing Modi as "highly respected" and a "very tough cookie." He recalled meeting Modi on the sidelines of the G-7 Summit in France, noting the prime minister's "great calmness" despite being a "very tough guy." Trump also mentioned Pakistan's Army Chief Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as leaders he liked.
