This declaration follows earlier statements by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who had indicated on Sunday evening that the United States and Iran had "declared the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon." Sharif had posted on X that the official signing ceremony was scheduled for June 19th in Switzerland.

Iran had previously stated on Saturday that the signing would not occur on Sunday but could happen in the coming days.
