Dong Nai: Three Martyrs' Remains Recovered in Loc Tam Hamlet, Loc Tan Commune

Dong Nai Province's military command has successfully located and gathered the remains of three fallen soldiers in Loc Tam hamlet, Loc Tan commune.

The K76 team, operating under the Dong Nai Provincial Military Command, carried out the operation as part of ongoing national efforts to search for and repatriate the remains of martyrs. The discovery involved excavating one set of remains found buried more than a meter deep.

Under the direct supervision of Colonel Nguyen Thanh Phong, Political Commissar of the Dong Nai Provincial Military Command, the K76 team expanded their search area. This led to the recovery of two additional sets of remains. Colonel Phong was actively involved in directing and participating in the exhumation process.

The K76 team is appealing to the public for any information or documentation related to burial sites in the Loc Tam hamlet area. Individuals with relevant knowledge are encouraged to contact Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Long, the team leader, via the provided phone number. The military command emphasizes that any information, no matter how small, could be crucial in helping these heroes return to their families and comrades.

This recovery effort follows a recent ceremony on August 13, where 29 sets of martyrs' remains, previously found in Minh Duc, Loc Ninh, and Loc Tan communes, were honored with funeral rites and interred at the Binh Phuoc Martyrs' Cemetery.
