Doping: Why fifth Ugandan athlete Herbert Kibet faces suspension

Ugandan long-distance runner Herbert Kibet has been suspended by the world athletics governing body’s integrity unit over the alleged presence and use of prohibited substances.

The Athletics Integrity Unit website said laboratory analysis detected triamcinolone acetonide and exogenous steroids in testing conducted through isotope ratio mass spectrometry. The report identifies Kibet as the fifth Ugandan athlete facing suspension in the doping case.
