DPP Central Committee Approves Tseng Sheng-kai for Zhubei Mayor Race

The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has officially selected Tseng Sheng-kai to run for mayor of Zhubei City, marking a significant step in the upcoming local elections. The party's central committee formally approved his candidacy, signaling their confidence in his ability to lead the rapidly developing city.

I have been deeply involved in Zhubei for a long time. Taking on the mayoral election this time is because I want to transform the local experience I have accumulated over the years into more comprehensive urban governance actions.

Tseng Sheng-kai, who currently serves as an assistant professor at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and is the president of the Zhubei City Chia Feng Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association, expressed his commitment to continuing the current administration's focus on citizen-centric and professional governance. He aims to ensure the steady progress of key policies and construction projects while proposing concrete solutions for the new challenges facing Zhubei's urban development.

The DPP's Hsinchu County chapter emphasized that Zhubei is at a critical juncture of rapid growth and governance transition. They believe the next municipal leader must possess professional expertise, strong execution capabilities, and effective communication and integration skills.
