Driver flees police, crashes into tree while high on cocaine

A 24-year-old man led police on a high-speed chase in Hanau, Germany, before crashing his car. The driver, who was under the influence of cocaine and lacked a valid driver's license, was attempting to evade a police check. The vehicle was flagged for de-registration, though the specific reason was not immediately clear.

The driver initially stopped but then accelerated rapidly, fleeing from officers. He reportedly drove at excessive speeds, dangerously overtaking multiple vehicles, sometimes on the wrong side of the road. His car eventually collided with another vehicle before striking a guardrail and a tree.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. Authorities are now investigating the 24-year-old for offenses including illegal street racing, endangering road traffic, and driving without a license.
