Drone Attack Kills Two Children in Russia's Krasnodar; Warehouses Damaged

A drone attack on the southern Russian city of Krasnodar has resulted in the deaths of two children and injuries to nine others, including seven children. Veniamin Kondratjev, the governor of Krasnodar, reported the casualties on the Telegram messaging service.

According to Kondratjev, drone debris struck a private childcare center in the city. The impact also caused damage to residential buildings and ignited a fire in warehouse structures. Ozon, Russia's second-largest online marketplace, confirmed that one of its warehouses was hit by drones and is currently ablaze. No injuries were reported at the Ozon facility.

This incident follows a similar attack on an Ozon warehouse in another Russian region the previous night. Ozon's main competitor, Wildberries, has been subjected to a series of drone attacks over several weeks. These attacks on warehouses, which are often easier targets than heavily defended military installations, have already led to billions of dollars in economic losses. Russian President Vladimir Putin has pledged government support to rebuild the damaged warehouses.
