Drugs hidden in plastic bottle seized in Siverek; two arrested

Anti-drug units in Siverek, part of Turkey's Şanlıurfa province, have conducted an operation resulting in the seizure of a significant quantity of cannabis. The operation targeted drug trafficking activities within the district. During the raid, law enforcement discovered 192 grams of liquid cannabis and 2.92 grams of solid cannabis concealed within a cleverly disguised plastic bottle.

The bottle was reportedly specially manufactured for hiding drugs, featuring a design that allowed its upper and lower sections to be separated, creating hidden compartments. This sophisticated concealment method highlights the lengths to which drug traffickers go to evade detection.

As a result of the operation, two individuals were apprehended. They are currently facing charges related to "Drug or Stimulant Substance Trafficking." The Şanlıurfa Provincial Police Department emphasized its ongoing commitment to combating drug sales, stating that these efforts are crucial for protecting young people and maintaining the peace and security of the community. The department vowed to continue its relentless pursuit of drug dealers.
